The Director, Product Marketing is responsible for the establishment of Product Marketing as a formal discipline in the company. At TechInsights, you’ll work with our sales and marketing departments, along with experts in logic, memory, image sensing, mobile, IoT, power, and automotive to explain the value of our portfolio and bring our products to market.

Reporting to the VP, Product, you will own sales enablement and our go-to-market strategy across all products and services. At the beginning, you’ll mentor others in Product Management to standardize our approach, while also rolling up your sleeves to make things happen. You’ll then have an opportunity to start building a team of your own. This position will be required to travel occasionally (up to 15%).
• Define and execute our Product Marketing discipline
o Ensure Sales is well-supported with appropriate tools and training
o Work with Product Managers to refine product positioning
o Understand, document, and improve the sales process
o Work with Product Managers on defining the personas involved in buying and using our products
o Develop a Marketing Plan in conjunction with Marketing
o Plan for revenue retention and growth
o Launch products and services
o Coordinate with Marketing on outreach activities, events, and similar
o Act as the ultimate Product-side owner for all externally-visible product/service content
• Develop a Product Marketing team
o Coordinate with Product Managers to complete Product Marketing deliverables
o Fill in skills/experience gaps on the team with your own
o Plan a dedicated Product Marketing team; hire and organize this team


• 10+ years of Product Marketing and Product Management experience
• Undergraduate degree in a field related to high-technology (computer science, engineering) or relevant work experience
• MBA or graduate business degree desired but not mandatory
• Proven success in driving revenue, working with Sales, and working with Marketing
• Ability to effectively work with clients and internal teams to distill feedback and drive consensus
• High level of comfort presenting in front of groups and C-level audience
• Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives independently
• Knowledge of semiconductor industry, and/or technologies and concepts related to Intellectual Property, IoT, automotive, consumer electronics, and mobile are assets
