Operating in one of the largest and fastest global markets, TechInsights continues to lead the way in creating unique technical intelligence content which is sold in a series of subscription products. Over 120 subscribing accounts, with an ASP of $150k and renewal rates in the high 90th percentile. The proven products and go to market approach are now ready for prime time. With a little under 5% of the identified TAM penetrated, TechInsights is expanding its dedicated subscription sales team to sell this proven value proposition. While at the same time rapidly expanding its Product and Software teams to continue to add new products.

If you have had success selling high value subscription content, this is probably a unique opportunity to join at team which continues to thrive in a blue ocean space where over $600k of new contract value is being sold each month.
• Engage in a highly collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of cross-functional stakeholders (internal management, sales, marketing, engineering, product, etc.)
• Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand client base. Quota responsibility of $1.5m+ of contract value within a territory of major account sized client accounts Prospect and close new business prospects from a specific geography, industry, or named account list
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships; educate clients on products and technology trends. Sell primarily to senior management (director, VP, C-level) at target accounts
• Gather and understand client business needs and objectives and recommend appropriate products; communicate value proposition through proposals and presentations
• Maintain the minimum weekly/daily metrics for the role and an appropriate sales pipeline of three times to five times quota

• Forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis

• Consult with TechInsights executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that improves the effectiveness of the sales channel
• Maintain a deep understanding and knowledge of TechInsights established content products
• Stay abreast of market trends and maintain a consistent level of market knowledge, supported by over 200 TechInsights technical engineers

Necessary Experience

• Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
• Demonstrable track record of selling content subscriptions with an ASP over $100k P.A.
• Confirmed experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business
• Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen. Proven ability to maintain a targeted, goal-oriented approach to sales.
• Ability to demonstrate senior sales member leadership through coaching, mentoring developing junior sales members
• Ability to prospect and handle C-level and senior level relationships within medium and large organizations
• Demonstrable ability to grow business with existing accounts, and to identify, develop and close new business opportunities with new accounts
• Excellent written and oral/presentation skills
• Fast learner and self starter who is at ease with technology
• Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers (C-level)

• Bachelor’s Degree a plus
