We have a unique opportunity for an experienced sales professional to act as a trusted advisor to major technology organizations with large patent portfolios.

As a Sales Executive, your mission will be to establish and develop accounts within North America and be accountable for driving the sales process from initial engagement to close. You will work closely with, and receive guidance from, subject matter experts within TechInsights to offer our clients top-level solutions.
• Focusing on growth and acquisition of new clients, prospect for potential clients using various direct and indirect methods
• Qualify new leads and consult with prospects about business challenges and requirements, options and cost benefits
• Prepare and present solutions to decision makers
• Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities and building a pipeline
• Develop sales reports, communicate sales status and update and maintain CRM with activities and opportunities
• Maintain a high level of domain knowledge in both technology and patents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or an equivalent technical field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in a solution-selling or consultative sales roles
• Strong technical acumen and solid understanding of various technology fields, including a network of industry contacts
• Demonstrated ability to grow business with existing accounts, and to identify, develop and close new business opportunities with new accounts
• Proven ability to work well independently while maintaining a targeted, goal-oriented approach to sales
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience selling programs to C-level management and providing high-touch services
• Ideally 3-5 years of experience with Intellectual Property and Patents
• Ability to travel across North America
