The Inside Sales Representative for Greater China reports directly to the Director of the Greater China region. In this role you will be a key member part of the go-to-market sales team working in close co-operation with Outside Sales.

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and creating new business or sales opportunities for TechInsights’ products and services. Working to identify new customer leads, prepare action plans to pursue leads, and follows through to closing are all area that you have expertise in.

Although sales is a big component to this role you will also participate in updating, tracking and reporting opportunities and activities to provide input for sales forecasts and to assist in preparing budgets/sales targets.

As the Inside Sales Representative you will have an understanding of semiconductor products, semiconductor fabrication and design techniques and TechInsights’ products and services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound cold calls and emails;
• Research accounts and identify key contacts;
• Develop action plans to pursue leads and follow up on prospects;
• Contact prospective clients to generate interest in TechInsights’ products;
• Qualify incoming calls; determine nature of customers’ needs, budget and timing, and recommend appropriate products or services;
• Qualify all sales leads and drive leads through sales process by initiating appointments with outside sales members;
• Supports existing customers and opportunities in a collaborative team approach with Outside Sales;
• Continuously promote and upsell TechInsights’ products and services;
• Provide quotes in a timely manner and ensure that sales orders are efficiently expedited;
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve or escalate customer concerns.


• Post Graduate diploma or degree coupled with 5 years’ experience in an inside sales capacity preferably in a high tech or semiconductor environment;
• Knowledge of semiconductor products, fabrication and design techniques;
• Knowledge of consumer electronic equipment;
• Superior telephone and email skills;
• Demonstrated experience and track record of success performing the Inside Sales role within a technology based company;
• Demonstrated success operating in a team Environment;
• Salesforce or other CRM experience; knowledge of Pardot;
• Solid organizational & time management techniques;
• Networking and interpersonal skills;
• International business practices and etiquette.
