The Senior Process Integration Analyst will participate in major campaigns and projects initiated by our Technology Intelligence business group, and related to analysis of devices manufactured with advanced semiconductor process technology.

As a practiced professional with in-depth understanding of state of the art semiconductor memory and advanced CMOS technology, you will provide process flow analysis and process flow emulation based on device structure, layout and material analysis, and critical dimensions obtained through our reverse engineering process. You will also assist with monitoring technology trends, providing technical analysis, report writing and internal and external consulting.
• Act as an internal expert on building process flow, critical dimensions and layout drawings based on reverse engineering results
• Provide process flow emulation for advanced semiconductor memory devices
• Work closely with Technology Intelligence memory sector analyst to define internal technical requirements for memory channel subscriptions builds
• Provide input to new business opportunities
• Provide input to new product offerings
• Identify new devices and/or processes that merit analysis under memory subscription channel
• Work closely with Operations Process analysts to evaluate reverse engineering results
• Lead process, device and materials analysis related to memory subscription channel
• Support broader project teams in technology trend, process/materials analysis, research, and documentation
• Follow company business policies and processes

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree (Physics, Electrical, Chemical or equivalent. A master or Ph.D. in engineering is an asset
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices, quantum physics and channel/junction Engineering
• 10+ years’ industry experience in semiconductor foundry in at least one of the following areas:
• Process integration used to fabricate CMOS, DRAM, 2D/3D NAND, NOR flash memory
• Fundamental manufacturing processes for advanced CMOS, DRAM, 2D/3D NAND, NOR flash memory
• Fundamental manufacturing processes for emerging memory (ReRAM, ST-MRAM, PCRAM, FeRAM)
• Semiconductor unit process and related equipment including Photolithography, Plasma Etching, Diffusion/CVD/Metal, IIP, CMP and wet cleaning
• In addition to one or more of the above, assets include: manufacturing processes for CIS, MEMS, III-V, BCDMOS, LCD, LED
• Some industry experience in design masks, reticles and layouts for new or existing memory or logic semiconductor products
• Knowledge and experience in interpreting results from analytical methods including SEM, TEM, EDS, EELS, SIMS, FTIR, Raman, SRP
• understanding limitations and advantages of each technique
• Knowledge of semiconductor transistor/die/wafer/package level test, quality control and six sigma methodologies, SPC and DOE
• Strong analytical skills combined with ability to handle multiple sources of information
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
